Collections Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage outstanding accounts, communicate with customers, and ensure timely payments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and negotiate payment arrangements
• Monitor aging reports and maintain accurate records of collection activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare and send collection notices as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
